Free Chromebook Repair Clinic
Dear South Huntington Families:
To ensure your child's District-issued Chromebook is ready for the upcoming school year, our Technology Department will be hosting several Summer Chromebook Repair Clinics, free of charge.
If your child’s device is currently in need of repair, please bring it to one of our intake sessions to have it serviced. Getting your child's device repaired now will ensure they are prepared for the first day of school. You can choose to pick up the device once it’s repaired or the device can be sent to your child’s school for September.

Important Updates for the 2026-2027 School Year
Optional Insurance: Starting in mid-August, families will have the opportunity to purchase an optional insurance policy for $21 per child for the school year. This policy provides comprehensive coverage for accidental damage and unlimited claims.
Repair Fees: Please be advised that standard repair charges of $40 per instance (for those without insurance) will resume on October 1, 2026.
Intentional Damage: Instances of intentional damage will continue at a cost of $40 per instance regardless of insurance
